According to the United States Coast Guard, Josh was reported overboard approximately 17 miles southeast of Lake Worth Inlet on Wednesday evening. Despite extensive search efforts involving air and surface assets, the Coast Guard announced the suspension of active search operations due to challenging sea conditions. An urgent marine information broadcast remains active, urging mariners to report any sightings.
Josh was a beloved figure in Salem’s hospitality scene, known for his vibrant personality and dedication to his craft. A funeral service to honor Josh’s life will be held at Temple Sinai, located at 1 Community Road in Marblehead, MA, on Sunday, April 20, at 2:00 PM. Friends, family, and community members are invited to attend and celebrate the life of a man who brought joy and warmth to so many.
In remembrance of Josh, Hale Street Tavern will host a tribute gathering on Sunday, April 13, at 4:00 PM. This event aims to bring together those whose lives Josh touched, offering a space to share memories and support one another during this difficult time.
